1. Service Scope

FetchMark is a personal knowledge management tool. We fetch web pages you submit, extract their readable text, archive that text on your behalf, and let you export it as Markdown files. The service is designed for individual research, reading, and long-term reference — not for republishing, redistribution, or resale of third-party content.

2. Acceptable Use

By using FetchMark, you agree to archive content only for personal, non-commercial research. You agree to respect the terms of the sites you archive, comply with applicable web archiving guidelines and copyright law, and refrain from using FetchMark to bypass paywalls or scrape content at scale. Accounts used to abuse the service may be suspended without notice.

3. Subscription & Billing

FetchMark offers a free tier with limited storage and a Pro subscription billed in USD through third-party card payment processors. Subscriptions renew automatically until cancelled. You can cancel at any time from your account; access to Pro features continues until the end of the paid period. Fees already paid are non-refundable except where required by law or in cases of documented billing errors reported within 14 days.

4. Third-Party Content & Availability

FetchMark archives text extracted from third-party websites. We do not control those websites, cannot guarantee that a source URL will remain reachable, and are not responsible for the accuracy, legality, or availability of external content. Original sites may go offline, change their terms, or block automated access at any time.

5. Limitation of Liability

FetchMark is provided on an 'as is' and 'as available' basis. To the maximum extent permitted by law, we disclaim all warranties and are not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages, including data loss caused by external server outages, upstream API failures, or the disappearance of source websites.

6. Changes to These Terms

We may update these terms as the product evolves. Material changes will be announced in-app or by email. Continued use of FetchMark after an update constitutes acceptance of the revised terms.
