Privacy Policy

1. Data Transparency

We store only what is required to run FetchMark: your account details (email and authentication identifiers) and the archived text of pages you choose to save. We use this data strictly to power the reader view, search, and Markdown export features. We do not sell, rent, or monetize your personal data or the contents of your library.

2. Payment Security

Payments for the Pro subscription are handled by PesaPal, a PCI-compliant merchant gateway. Card numbers, CVV codes, and full payment credentials are collected and processed on their infrastructure — never on FetchMark servers. We receive only the minimum information needed to confirm your subscription status.

3. Data Ownership & Portability

Your library is yours. You can export any archived article as a Markdown file at any time, and you can delete individual articles or your entire account whenever you choose. Deletion removes the associated records from our database; residual copies in encrypted backups are purged on our standard rotation.

4. Third-Party Services

To fetch and clean web pages, FetchMark relies on a small set of third-party services (authentication, database hosting, content extraction, and payments). These providers process data only as needed to deliver their part of the service and are bound by their own privacy commitments.

5. Security

Account credentials are handled through industry-standard authentication. Traffic between your browser and FetchMark is encrypted in transit. While no online service can promise perfect security, we work to keep the surface area small and the data we hold minimal.

6. Contact

Questions about this policy, data access requests, or deletion requests can be sent to support@fetchmarkapp.com from the email address associated with your FetchMark account. We respond to legitimate requests within a reasonable timeframe.
