Cookie Policy

1. What cookies are

Cookies are small files stored in your browser. FetchMark also uses equivalent browser storage (localStorage) for the same purposes. We keep the list short: what we need to run the service, plus optional analytics that only load if you agree.

2. Cookies we use

sb-*, fetchmark-auth (Supabase auth)

Necessary

Keeps you signed in to your FetchMark account and secures the session.

Retention: Session or up to 1 year (depending on “Remember me”)

fm_cookie_consent

Necessary

Stores your cookie choice (accepted / declined) so the banner isn't shown again on every visit. Set by FetchMark, first-party localStorage.

Retention: Until cleared

bookmarks:view

Necessary (preferences)

Remembers whether your library is displayed as a list or a grid. First-party localStorage, no tracking.

Retention: Until cleared

_ga, _ga_M4T4CZQ3LY

Statistics (consent required)

Google Analytics 4 — assigns a random ID and keeps session state for anonymous, aggregated page statistics. Only set after you press Accept.

Retention: Up to 2 years

_gid

Statistics (consent required)

Google Analytics helper cookie — distinguishes visitors for daily aggregated usage statistics. Only set after you press Accept.

Retention: 24 hours

_gat, _gat_gtag_*

Statistics (consent required)

Google Analytics helper cookie — throttles the rate of requests sent to Analytics. Only set after you press Accept.

Retention: 1 minute

_gcl_au, Google Ads conversion tags

Marketing (consent required)

Measures ad conversions and campaign performance. Blocked by Google Consent Mode and never loaded until you press Accept.

Retention: Up to 90 days

_fbp (Meta Pixel)

Marketing (consent required)

Meta advertising measurement. The pixel script is not injected at all unless you press Accept.

Retention: Up to 90 days

3. Consent

Analytics cookies are blocked until you press “Accept” in the cookie banner. If you decline, no Google Analytics script is loaded at all. Strictly necessary cookies do not require consent because the service cannot function without them.

4. Changing your choice

You can withdraw or change your consent at any time. Resetting brings the banner back on your next page view; any analytics cookies already set can be removed through your browser's site-data settings.
